Editorial policy
Editorial standards
Content is organised around real user questions: direct answer, explanation, exceptions, sources and the next useful step.
Editorial responsibility & sources
Responsibility
Daniel Sappel is responsible for selecting and publishing the content. The responsible-person information under section 18(2) MStV is stated in the legal notice. This publication responsibility is distinct from a complete professional, legal or technical review of every individual article.
Use of artificial intelligence
Generative AI may be used to support research, structuring, drafting, translation, technical implementation and image generation.
Editorial articles and FAQ answers created using generative AI are transparently labelled on the relevant page. The label does not mean that the article has undergone a complete professional, legal or technical human review. Selection, technical integration and publication are carried out by the operator.
Realistic AI-generated illustrative images are labelled directly at the image or clearly assigned to the relevant image group. They do not represent a promise of a specific rental model or the exact linked product.
Sources and traceability
For legal, technical or provider-specific statements, the portal uses laws, authority information, original terms and other reliable primary sources where possible. A source is listed only when it directly supports the article; pure comparison, search or affiliate destination pages are not used as evidence for factual claims. Provider sources are treated as provider-specific examples and are not automatically generalised to the whole market. Sources are shown with the relevant article so statements can be traced and updated when necessary. The cited original sources, vehicle documents, tariff conditions and specific contracts remain authoritative.
Quality, independence & corrections
Editorial independence
Potential affiliate remuneration does not change calculator logic. Commercial links are identified.
Quality rules
- no invented prices, ratings or availability
- no guaranteed model when a class is booked
- ranges instead of false precision
- clear limits for provider-specific conditions
- substantial pages instead of automated location duplicates
Corrections
Factual errors and outdated information are reviewed when identified and corrected where necessary. Possible errors can be reported through the portal’s contact options.
